In consideration of being permitted to participate in the TransportationCamp PHL 2024 Summer Gathering, I hereby agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk:
I understand that participation in the TransportationCamp PHL 2024 Summer Gathering may involve certain risks and hazards, including but not limited to physical injury, illness (including, but not limited to, risk of contracting COVID-19 or derivatives), property damage, or other dangers, both known and unknown. I voluntarily assume all such risks and responsibilities associated with my participation in the event.

2. Release of Liability:
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the entities, trustees, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives of TransportationCamp PHL, Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) International, the Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) Philadelphia Chapter, WTS, and Drexel University (together the "Event Organizers") from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, in both personal and professional capacities, while participating in such activity or while on the premises where the event is being conducted.

3. Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the entities, trustees, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives of TransportationCamp PHL, Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) International, the Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) Philadelphia Chapter, WTS, and Drexel University (together the "Event Organizers") from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to my participation in the TransportationCamp PHL 2024 Summer Gathering, whether caused by my negligence or otherwise.

4. Responsibility for Costs:
I agree to pay for all costs and expenses incurred by me throughout the duration of the Event, including but not limited to transportation, equipment rental, activities, food and drink, incidentals, and any other expenses. I understand that the Event Organizers will not cover not reimburse costs under any circumstances unless explicitly agreed upon in writing beforehand.

5. Medical Treatment:
I authorize the Event Organizers and their representatives to obtain or provide medical treatment for me in the event of any injury, accident, or illness during my participation in the event, and I agree to be financially responsible for any costs associated with such treatment.

6. Photographic Release:
I hereby grant permission to the Event Organizers to use photographs, video recordings, or any other media taken of me during the event for promotional or educational purposes at any subsequent time, without compensation to me.

7. Compliance with Rules:
I agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the Event Organizers and their representatives regarding my participation in the TransportationCamp PHL 2024 Summer Gathering.

8. Discharge & Exclusion:
I understand that I may be discharged or excluded from the event for any reason at the sole judgement of the event organizers, subject to no standard of reasonableness.

9. Prize Eligibility:
I acknowledge and agree that eligibility for any prizes awarded during the event is entirely at the discretion of the Event Organizers. The Event Organizers reserve the right to determine eligibility based on any criteria they deem appropriate, including but not limited to participant behavior, adherence to event rules and regulations, and compliance with any applicable laws or regulations. I understand that the Event Organizers' decision regarding prize eligibility is final and binding and agree to abide by it without recourse or dispute. Any attempt to influence or challenge the organizers' determination of prize eligibility will result in immediate disqualification from consideration for prizes and may also lead to additional consequences, including but not limited to expulsion from the event and forfeiture of any prizes already awarded. By participating in the event, I expressly waive any claims, rights, and entitlements related to prize eligibility determinations and acknowledge that the organizers have full discretion to award prizes as they see fit. I further agree not to hold the Event Organizers liable for any disputes or disagreements regarding prize eligibility or the awarding of prizes.

10. Venue
Any dispute arising out of or related to this waiver and release, including but not limited to any claims or lawsuits for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I hereby consent to the jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in such courts.

11. Severability
If any provision of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE FORM, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO BE BOUND BY IT.

I AGREE AND INTEND TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT, AND THAT MY DIGITAL APPROVAL HERETO CARRIES THE FULL EFFECT OF MY SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT.

BY SIGNING THIS WAIVER, I AGREE TO RELEASE THE EVENT ORGANIZERS FROM ANY LIABILITY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
