Whether you work in the industry or simply have an interest, we welcome you physically to our nation’s birthplace at the center of the NEC for a day filled with ideas at the intersection of transportation, technology, and urbanism. As always, the participant-driven TransportationCamp conference series follows the “unconference” format, lending itself to a more pertinent, thought-provoking, and active event.

Organized by passionate Philadelphians in conjunction with the Philadelphia Chapter and Mid-Atlantic Region of Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT), the Philadelphia Chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), and the Mid-Atlantic Section of the Institute of Traffic Engineers (MASITE, ITE), we look forward to seeing you!

1. Assumption of Risk:
I understand that participation in TransportationCamp PHL 2025 may involve certain risks and hazards, including but not limited to physical injury, illness (including, but not limited to, risk of contracting COVID-19 or derivatives), property damage, or other dangers, both known and unknown. I voluntarily assume all such risks and responsibilities associated with my participation in the event.

2. Release of Liability:
In consideration of being permitted to participate in TransportationCamp PHL 2025, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the entities, trustees, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives of TransportationCamp PHL, Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) International, the Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) Philadelphia Chapter, WTS, Drexel University, the Mid-Atlantic Section of the Institute of Traffic Engineers, and the Institute of Traffic Engineers (together the "Event Organizers") from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise, in both personal and professional capacities, while participating in such activity or while on the premises where the event is being conducted.

3. Indemnification:
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the entities, trustees, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and representatives of TransportationCamp PHL, Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) International, the Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) Philadelphia Chapter, WTS, Drexel University, MASITE, and ITE (together the "Event Organizers") from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to my participation in TransportationCamp PHL 2025, whether caused by my negligence or otherwise.

4. Medical Treatment:
I authorize the Event Organizers and their representatives to obtain or provide medical treatment for me in the event of any injury, accident, or illness during my participation in the event, and I agree to be financially responsible for any costs associated with such treatment.

5. Photographic Release:
I hereby grant permission to the Event Organizers to use photographs, video recordings, or any other media taken of me during the event for promotional or educational purposes at any subsequent time, without compensation to me.

6. Compliance with Rules:
I agree to abide by all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the Event Organizers and their representatives regarding my participation in TransportationCamp PHL 2025.

7. Venue
Any dispute arising out of or related to this waiver and release, including but not limited to any claims or lawsuits for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death, shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I hereby consent to the jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to venue in such courts.
